Re: An old GPRsoft version (1.4.26) in windows 10

Dear Gerardo,
this seems to be a very old version of the software, so it is questionable if it is compatible with newer OS versions.
Please contact the support at Geoscanners AB to see if it is possible to do something about it.

Re: GPRSoft gain settings

Dear cuda,
try using the Custom gain which allows you to insert from 2-10 points.

Re: GPR and Soil Surveys

Dear CHD, I hope that the following questions would lead you in investigating the approaches: What is the frequency of the antenna being used? = Do you have enough resolution to "see" each of the layer contacts? What range (and other) settings are you using? = Do you have the unit set to go as deep ...

Re: Grid Scan Slices and UST Systems

Dear CHD, since the signal can not penetrate the metal there can not be other responses beneath a metal object, but there could be a reverbration/multiple/repeating response from the same metal object (signal trapped between surface and metal and bouncing up and down). Observing just the 3D map coul...

Re: Grid Scan Slices and UST Systems

Dear CHDenvironmental, if the tank is made of metal (coated with plastic or not) the EM waves from the GPR can not penetrate into the tank. Now as for the outline...what happens if you observe the slices shallower than the one posted? Is there a depth level where you have a strong response in betwee...

Re: Help in data processing

Dear jovtyu,
I have taken a look at your file and it seems to be that the offset setting is wrong and antenna is used in contact with the ground, which for the FLB390 is not a good idea.
Best regards,

Re: Help in data processing

Dear jovtyu,
can you post the original gsf file without processing, there is not much that we can do with the image.

Re: Check Scanning

Dear kinglion, welcome to the GPR-forum. I have moved your topic from the welcome section, so your question is in a more appropriate part of the forum. I would also suggest that you do not show your email address so obviously in the posts - other can contact you through the Personal Message system w...

GPR-parameters website

Hi everyone, there is a very interesting new website for GPR users with quite a lot information, available calculations and a large summary database of currently available GPR antennas from different manufacturers. Although I find the site very functional and useful, keep in mind that it is the firs...

Re: How can I get better results? What this means?

Dear Klauscb, I took a look at your data and there are a few observations that I can make: 1. It seems to be that you have adjusted your offset just a bit wrong, cutting into the direct pulse - which for ground coupled antennas coincides with the surface. Therefore observing the "strange looking res...
